Compensation Survey

A family support organization had undergone considerable restructuring and new job definitions that had implications for the compensation system. The consultants conducted a job analysis using the position description questionnaire and then following up with interviews. We used benchmarking and internal calibration as input to the compensation analysis. Then we used salary survey data that had been collected among comparable non-profit organizations in the region to check on our levels and internal comparisons. Federally funded programs are required to conduct studies of adverse impact to determine if protected groups are subject to discrimination as far as promotions or pay are concerned. We conducted this analysis and determined that no adjustments in the current system were required
